Was treated to the most amazing dinner at Aqua bar and restaurant in Kowloon,  Hong Kong, on Friday night.


We started off in the bar with pink bubbles (my favourite) and bar snacks (a godsend considering I’d been cruising the malls until late) and then delicious vino and feasting until late with the view of the Hong Kong skyline and the light show as my view.  The interiors of Aqua are pretty impressive but the view, the view is to die for.

I, Dragon   February 5th, 2010

I love dim sum so was very stoked to hear we were joining my sister and some of her friends for lunch at the amazing Dragon-i, which is a very swish nightclub by night (believe me, the loos are so dimly lit, I almost walked into the invisible door – at lunchtime!) and a sleek restaurant by day.


We sat on the deck, under the birdcages complete with real birdies (and a huge bamboo aviary a few metres away). The food was amazing and the company fantastic!

What A View   November 16th, 2009

We got home at 1am from my birthday drinks. Bear (bless her) woke up at 5:30am, ready to play. Sigh…

 

Breakfast at The Roundhouse (my top choice for relaxed-but-top-notch-dining in Cape Town)  literally saved our lives: eggs benedict with crispy bacon (mmn), platters of the yummiest of pastries, litres of fresh orange juice and lots of green, grassy lawn for Bear to run around on.

 

Admittedly I look a little pale and wan – the food helped, and I felt a whole lot better after a long afternoon nap!
